Returns, Exchanges & Refunds Policy

At Shopurneeds, we strive to ensure a smooth and satisfying shopping experience for all our customers. We understand that sometimes things don’t go as planned—so we’ve designed a flexible and transparent Returns, Exchange, and Refund Policy.

This policy applies to products listed by sellers on shopurneeds.in. Each product's eligibility for return or exchange is specified on its product detail page.

1.  General Overview

Shopurneeds is a multi-vendor platform, meaning different sellers may have different return, refund, or exchange conditions. Always refer to the product detail page for the exact policy applicable to each item.

  • Returnable Items: Clearly marked as returnable with a specified return window.
  • Non-returnable Items: Labelled as "Not Returnable" and are not eligible for return or exchange unless damaged or wrong item is received.

2. Returns

2.1 Return Eligibility

A product is eligible for return if:

  1. It is clearly marked as returnable.
  2. The return request is raised within the return window (usually 7 days from delivery).
  3. It is unused, unwashed, and in its original packaging with tags and labels intact.

Non-returnable Items Include:

  1. Items sold under clearance, deals, or limited promotions.
  2. Items damaged by customer use.
  3. Specific product categories like innerwear, personal hygiene products, or perishable goods (unless defective or wrong item received).

2.2 Conditions:

Returns may be rejected if:

  1. The return wasn’t initiated following our official process.
  2. The wrong, extra, or incomplete product is returned.
  3. The product is damaged due to misuse or shows signs of wear and tear.
  4. There is evidence of fraudulent behavior or excessive returns (abuse of platform).

3. Exchange

3.1 Exchange Conditions

        1. Only available for select products (check product page).

        2. Each product can be exchanged only once.

        3. Exchange is allowed only for the same item (e.g., size or color change).

        4. Exchange eligibility depends on product availability, serviceable delivery location, and product condition.

3.2 Not Eligible for Exchange if:

        1.The product is used, washed, or tampered with.

        2. Exchange is not allowed if the reason is “no longer needed” or “quality not as expected.”

        3. Seller has insufficient stock.

4. Types of Return Options

4.1 Easy Return (All Return Option)

  • You can return an item for any reason within the return period — no questions asked.
  • Available only on select products. No extra charges.

4.2 Wrong/Defective Return

Return allowed only if:

  • Wrong item received.
  • Product is damaged, defective, or incomplete.

Return is free only if the fault lies with the seller.

5. Cost of Return

  • FREE returns if the product was defective, damaged, or incorrect.
  • Charges may apply for non-defective returns (unless covered under All Return Option).

6. Refunds

Refunds are issued to the original payment method after we receive and inspect the returned item.

Conditions:

  • Refund includes only the amount paid by you (excluding offers/discounts).
  • No refund will be processed if incorrect bank details are shared.
  • Refunds for COD orders require submission of bank details.

7. Instant Refund (For COD Orders)

You may be eligible for an Instant Refund (within 4 hours of successful pickup) if:

  • The return passes quality check at pickup.
  • The delivery agent marks it as “picked up.”
  • There are no technical issues delaying the refund process.

Instant Refund is not available for:

  • Returns from resellers
  • Self-shipped returns
  • Missing or incorrect product returns
  • Bank/technical downtime affecting processing

8. Common Return & Exchange Guidelines

Products must:

  • Be in original condition, unused and unwashed.
  • Include all original packaging, tags, and warranty cards (if any).
  • Match the order details (e.g., IMEI, serial numbers).
  • Be returned within the specified window as mentioned on the product page.

Returns will not be accepted if:

  • The item was tampered with.
  • The warranty card is missing (if applicable).
  • The product was exchanged or returned previously.
